Brief:
Botimbo is a company that delivers pet food and necessities door-to-door in Bolivia. The company launched in 2019 as a result of many other companies fighting over the delivery market in Latin America and soon found customers with the COVID-19 pandemic. Their original launch plan was to connect to users using WhatsApp and social media.
Problem:
The intended demographic for the company is well-versed and very reliant on using WhatsApp. However, Whatsapp is limiting users by having to connect with a human being in order to place an order.
Landing Page:
After receiving great feedback from users on their new branding, the client decided to move forward with the second phase of their plan — creating a landing page that builds on the established visual identity. This website would provide information about the company, allow users to explore the product catalog, and highlight the areas where their services are available. The client requested the following key elements for the site: a link to initiate a WhatsApp conversation, details on how their delivery process works, a comprehensive product catalog, and a clear outline of the regions in Bolivia they serve.
Process:
I started by making sketches for the website and exploring new ways to interact with customers. The client mentioned that the new branding video I created received positive attention, with many viewers praising its visual appeal. Based on this, we agreed to use that design aesthetic for the website. We focused on incorporating the key elements necessary for the site:
1. A WhatsApp link to enable direct communication with customers.

2. A sample catalog showcasing the products they offer.

3. A section explaining "how it works."Additional animations to make it very intuitive + added "fun" value.
4. A map highlighting the regions of Bolivia where their business operates.

Final Design:

Publish:
Both desktop and mobile versions of the website were published. The desktop version featured a parallax animation that responded dynamically to scrolling, adding depth to the experience. Additionally, the delivery section also included animations which were all integrated using sprite sheets.
These animations served a storytelling purpose: first, a delivery car enters the city, teasing the company's mission. This is followed by a step-by-step tutorial illustrating how users can access the service, with animations guiding the viewer’s eye to help them follow the process smoothly and intuitively.
